Online Slot Soundtracks
Making an online slot isn't as easy as many might think. As players, we often think it's just about making a game that can give players big wins, but there's much more to it than that.
One of the most effective ways to do this is through audiovisuals; by creating artwork, animations, soundtracks and sound effects that all come together into an immersive experience.
Naturally, some online slots stand out more than others for this, so we're taking some time today and looking at some of our favourite slot soundtracks; and some of them have even made their way to streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.

Chaos Crew – Hacksaw Gaming
At the time of release, Chaos Crew was one of the most interesting games we'd seen in a while.
This was mostly due to its heavily desaturated bonus round, which offered Hacksaw Gaming‘s take on a hold and win bonus.
However, the real talking point was the soundtrack, which not only elevated this bonus round to higher levels, but was also the sort of thing you'd listen to in your spare time – if that kind of music is your thing.
Ultimately, this electro track was part of what helped this release become one of the team's most popular releases.
The Final Countdown – Big Time Gaming
What better soundtrack to an online slot than one of the most popular songs of the 80s?
The Final Countdown from Europe shot to number 1 in 25 countries, including the UK, upon release.
Just over 3 decades later, Big Time Gaming decided to use this classic in one of their own releases, aptly titled The Final Countdown.
There's no telling if The Final Countdown would still be as popular if not for its namesake, but it does still have some pretty fun features – and although it has a reputation for being difficult to bonus, is still a favourite slot of many players.
The Crypt – Nolimit City
It was guaranteed that you were going to see some Nolimit City on this list.
This team appears to spend just as much time on their soundtracks as they do every other aspect of their releases, and the payoff is definitely worth it.
The first one we consider worthy of a place on this list is The Crypt, with a song titled ‘Get My Bones Right'.
Nolimit City have so much love for their music that they've actually added it to Spotify, with 2,132 monthly listeners and over 20,000 plays on some of the tracks.
Twisted Sister – Play'n GO
Another release with an 80s track is Twisted Sister from Play'n GO – and it's a good one.
Released in 2020, this is another example of a great cluster release from the team that does cluster releases like no other.
What makes Twisted Sister so special is the fact that they've used the hit track ‘We're Not Gonna Take It' in the bonus round, ‘I Wanna Rock' throughout, and they've even focused the game around the famous music video.
Basically, if you find yourself looking for a slot that pays homage to this talented group, it's this one.
Royal Potato – Print Studios
When we heard there was a new slot coming called Royal Potato, our interest was piqued.
Although they've gone on to immense success, at the time of the Royal Potato release, Print Studios were still a fairly new studio to this market.
They figured out how to set themselves apart, though; an interesting theme and an even more interesting soundtrack.
Royal Potato uses Pachelbel's Canon for the bonus round, which took everybody by surprise at the start and earned it a place on this list.
xWays Hoarder – Nolimit City
xWays Hoarder is kind of the one that got the ball rolling on Nolimit City being both a slot studio and a producer of great soundtracks.
Everyone who's ever played this slot will immediately recognise the soundtrack if they hear ‘I said hell yeah…' and for good reason.
xWays Hoarder has one of the best soundtracks on this list with ‘Hell Yeah', both because the song is great and because it suits the quirky vibe of the slot it accompanies.
Toro 7s – ELK Studios
Who doesn't love the Toro 7s music?
ELK Studios make their way to this list courtesy of Toro 7s, but to be honest there are a whole host of slots that could have gotten them here just as easily.
Maybe most well known for their airhorn in the big win count ups, this team have had some of the best soundtracks in the industry for a long time, and that title doesn't seem like it's going anywhere any time soon.
If you want to play a fun release that offers up music guaranteed to get you moving, Toro 7s is a great choice.
Immortal Romance – Games Global
Back to a classic with Immortal Romance from Games Global – and another one that's known by players across the world.
Everyone who's ever played this release or watched their favourite streamer play it will know the lyrics to the bonus round soundtrack in Immortal Romance, and for good reason.
It might not be quite as edgy as some of the tracks on this list, but it is great – and one you'd definitely listen to in your spare time.
The Cult Series – Big Time Gaming
Coming to the end of the list we had to include the Cult Series from Big Time Gaming.
Comprising of Lil' Devil, Wild Flower, Outlaw and Sanctuary, each release in this series uses a song from The Cult; rock band that found fame in the 80s.
No need to guess which songs were used since the slots are very aptly titled, but these releases encompass a variety of mechanics and features, each finished off with a soundtrack that really makes you want to stick around for another bonus and another chance to listen.
True Kult – Nolimit City
Finishing off the list with another Nolimit City and one of our personal favourites – ‘Beelzebub', from True Kult.
There aren't many ways to describe this track, other than bold, intense and really quite captivating.
The gameplay in True Kult is some of the most simple offered by this team, but the soundtrack definitely elevates it, turning the whole thing into an experience that keeps you coming back for me.
Favourite Tracks
And there you have it – some of our favourite slot tracks!
Honourable mention goes to a few others, like Village People or Danger! High Voltage, but those that have appeared in this list are our all time favourites.
Some of these might lose their spot in the near future, but if that's the case we can't wait to see what replaces them.
